Susan Barber is a Residential Mortgage Loan Officer with Legacy Mortgage Team at Goldwater Bank, N.A.  With more than 20-years’ experience in the financial industry, she has dedicated the last decade to residential mortgages.

Susan has the knowledge and experience to help her clients through the process, from finding the terms that work best for their budget to making sure that all legalities are competently handled, resulting in a smooth closing experience.

Susan grew up in Waleska, GA in Cherokee County.  She attended University of West Georgia and is a 1998 alumna of Leadership Douglas. 

Susan enjoys fitness, hiking, horseback riding, rescuing animals, the beach and interior decorating, but especially loves playing sports with her spunky, athletic and strong-willed 12-year old son, Landon.  She also loves giving and doing things for those that are less fortunate, as well as for the elderly.  

But her newest passion is reading poetry, “as it soothes my soul…”  She lives for rainy lazy days of napping and movie-binging.
